La rom par Algasystems : algasystems_6.1.zip

la rom d'alga est contient les optimisations suivantes par rapport à la ROM de Sanjay :

- Splash screen sequence restored to original (hp qvga, hp vga, windows mobile)
- HTC X-Button (Task Manager) removed
- PDAViet customizations (device name, aku version, ecc.) almost removed
- Nav Point Mode link is now correctly created
- some registry fixclean

Rom wm6
Attention pour la dernière version (release 4) la méthode de mise à jour a légèrement changé. Elle est décrite dans le fichier texte README.txt contenu dans l'archive

le dernier OS de microsoft est diponible pour le hx4700... en anglais certes mais disponible quand même

Thanks to kozhura, the developer of the aku 3.5.2 rom, there is now a WM6 rom for the hx4700!!
Early reports say it is twice as fast as his previous wm5 build!

I'll include the 5 step install instructions to install the rom using my bootloader once again.
I've just tested it still works with this rom (not that there should be any reason it wouldn't work).
Everything works smoothly. I even flashed it using windows vista too. (read the note at the bottom to do this)

Step 1: Make a new folder in the root folder of your harddisk drive. make sure it has no spaces.
e.g. C:\BootLoader\
don't use something like C:\Boot Loader\ as it contains spaces.
* NOTE: Having spaces in the folder containing the rom file will cause an error to show because it can't send the file to the device.*

Step 2: Download the WM6 rom and my bootloader into the folder you just created in step one.
Rom: img-49213-WM6_4700_ENG.rar
BootLoader: BootLoader.exe.
* NOTE: Don't download them into another folder that has spaces, put them in the folder from step one.*

Step 3: Put your hx4700 in bootloader mode by pressing ITASK+CONTACTS+RESET, And put it in the sync cradle.
* NOTE: It's best to charge your iPAQ or have power connected before you perform the rom upgrade.*

Mettre le HX4700 en mode Boot Loader en appuyant simultanément sur les touches ITASK (la flèche en bas à droite du pad) + CONTACTS + RESET et remettre le pda sur la base. Avant vérifier que votre batterie est bien chargée à bloc



Step 4: Open the BootLoader.exe from the folder, and select the 'img-49213-WM6_4700_ENG0_32_FIXED_FINAL.rar' file when it asks you to select a rom file.
It will automatically find and extract the nbf file, remove the header, close activesync, then start uploading it to your device.
* NOTE: You may need to put on a pot of coffee, it takes a while. It will show an error after uploading it, and stay in bootloader mode, but it will still work once you apply step 5.*

Lancer le bootloader.exe et sélectionner la ROM nommée 'img-49213-WM6_4700_ENG0_32_FIXED_FINAL.rar' lorsque cela ets demandé
le soft va automatiquement trouver et extraire le fichier nbf, enlever l'entête, fermer activesync et démarrer l'upload sur le pda
NOTE : il faudra prévoir un peu de café car c'est un peu long. Une erreur apparaîtra après l'upload, et restera en mode bootloader, mais ça marchera quand même quand vous passerez à l'étape 5




Step 5: Lastly, perform a clean reset by pressing CONTACTS + INBOX + RESET. When asked to confirm the clean reset press CALENDER.
* NOTE: You may need to soft reset before or after doing this. This step is required by all bootloaders. (Solnyshok’s mod etc.) Don't skip it or it will not boot up.*

A la fin, faire un clean reset en appuyant simultanément sur les touches CONTACTS + INBOX + RESET. Appuyer sur CALENDRIER pour confirmer le clean reset
NOTE : il sera peut être nécessaire d'effectuer un soft reset avant ou après ceci. Cette étape est nécessaire par tous les bootloaders. ne pasez pas outre sinon il n'y aura pas de boot



Note: If using Windows Vista, You will need to install these drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=301816
(you won't need to kill any processes as mentioned in that thread though, as my bootloader will do that automatically)
